According to the pie chart, 32 students entered first grade demonstrating low risk (on or above grade level) for letter sound knowledge, 3 students demonstrated some risk (less than one level below grade level) and 1 student demonstrated high risk (below grade level). Overall the pie chart demonstrates a class profile that is comfortable applying their letter sounds knowledge on the BOY easyCBM Letter Sounds Assessment.

According to the pie chart, 26 students in the middle of the year demonstrate low risk (on or above grade level) for letter sounds knowledge, 6 students demonstrate some risk (less than one level below grade level) and 3 students demonstrate high risk (below grade level). Overall the class profile demonstrates a decrease in letter sounds knowledge. Therefore, as an educator following the MOY assessment my first year of teaching, I chose to adjust instructional methods to ensure each student's letter sounds growth on the EOY assessment.

The class profile shows an overall decrease in word reading fluency. In my first year of teaching, following the MOY word reading fluency assessment, instructional methods were adjusted to ensure student growth on the EOY word reading fluency assessment.
