Students have to apply their knowledge from previous listening with understanding and empathy with peers to generate a productive guess for the classmate's song. During this part of the process, students excitedly listen to the song and look around the room thinking about, which student chose the song.

Once the song is stopped, the student who chose the song stands silently. Then the student shares his or her paragraph with peers explaining, "Why?" the student chose the song. The student in the video is sharing that she chose her song because she happened to listen to this song before the first day of fourth grade. The song calmed her nerves and made her realize that there is nothing to be worried about on the first day of school.
